Do you come to me for mobile detailing in Cincinnati?

Yes. Onyx Pristine Co. is fully mobile — we bring our own water tank, generator, and all premium products (Koch Chemie and P&S Detail Products). Driveway, parking garage, office lot, apartment complex, condo lot — wherever your vehicle lives, we'll detail it there.

Service area covers all of Cincinnati and the entire 513 area code: Mason, West Chester, Loveland, Blue Ash, Norwood, Anderson Township, and surrounding Hamilton County neighborhoods.

How much does mobile car detailing cost?

$60 for an Exterior Detail, $100 for an Interior Detail, and $150 for the Pristine package (interior + exterior). See full pricing on the Detailing page.

Add-ons: Engine Bay $25, Headlight Restoration $70 when bundled with a detail (saves $10), Heavy Smoke / Odor Removal from $35.

A surcharge of $25–$50 may apply for excessive pet hair, deep stains, or extreme soiling — always confirmed up front after inspection so there are no surprises at the end.

How long does a full car detail take?

Exterior-only: 1–2 hours. Interior-only: 2–3 hours. Full Pristine (interior + exterior): 3–4 hours.

Severely soiled vehicles or those needing heavy odor removal may take longer — we'll always quote the time up front.

What if it rains on my appointment day?

Covered driveway, garage, or carport? We can usually still detail. No cover? We'll reach out the morning of and reschedule for the next available slot at no charge.

Light drizzle generally isn't an issue for interior-only details.

Do I need to be home during the detail?

Not at all. Many customers leave the keys in a lockbox, the car unlocked in the driveway, or hand them off and head to work. We send a "finished" photo and an invoice when we're done. If you'd rather be there, that's also fine — we'll work around your schedule.

How do I pay?

Cash, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, and all major credit/debit cards. Payment is due at completion. No deposits required for one-time bookings.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Same-day cancellations may incur a $25 trip fee since we've reserved the time slot.

How long does headlight restoration last?

Our UV-protective sealant typically holds 1–3 years depending on sun exposure and parking conditions. Garaged vehicles last longer.

If your lenses start to haze again, a quick polish + reseal is usually enough. Way cheaper than replacement headlights, which can run $300–$1,200 per side. More on headlight restoration here.

Will restoration work if my headlights are cracked?

Restoration only addresses the outer surface — wet-sanding, polishing, and resealing oxidized plastic. If a lens has structural cracks or moisture inside the housing, replacement is the better fix. We'll tell you up front if your lenses aren't a candidate before any work starts.

How often should I have my trash cans cleaned?

Most homeowners do well with quarterly cleaning (every 3 months) — our most popular plan at $20 per can. Monthly ($15/can) is best for heavy organic waste or hot/humid summers. One-time cleanings are $25 per can for a single deep sanitization. Plan details here.

How does steam trash can cleaning actually work?

We use 200° pressurized steam combined with eco-neutral detergents and an odor neutralizer. The high heat kills 99.9% of bacteria, mold, and pathogens that cause smell.

Wastewater is captured and disposed of responsibly — nothing goes into your yard or storm drain. Cans dry in minutes and smell fresh for weeks.

Will pressure washing damage my driveway, deck, or siding?

Not when it's done right. We dial pressure to the surface — high PSI on concrete, gentler pressure on wood and pavers, and surface-aware pre-treatments before any spray. We don't strip wood decks (we wash, not strip).

If your surface needs a softer approach, we'll tell you before starting.

How much does pressure washing cost?

Sidewalks and walkways start at $50, standard driveways are $140, and patios or decks are $100. For larger jobs (over the package sizes), we charge $0.20 per square foot.

Do you provide your own water?

Yes. We bring a pressurized water tank for every mobile job — detailing, pressure washing, and trash can cleaning. You don't need to provide a hose or hookup.

How far in advance should I book?

Most weekdays we can schedule within 2–4 days. Saturdays book up about a week out, especially in spring and summer.

For tight timelines, call 513-409-1944 — we sometimes have same-day or next-day openings from cancellations.

Pressure washing vs. power washing — what's the difference?

Power washing uses heated water; pressure washing uses cold or ambient water. Onyx Pristine uses pressure washing for most surfaces, with hot-water steam for trash cans and oil-stained concrete.

For most residential exterior cleaning, pressure washing achieves the same result without the risk of damaging delicate surfaces.

Do you offer first-time discounts?

Yes — $20 off your first detail. And every fifth detail you book with us is 50% off. Loyalty matters.
